So I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong with Kings Quest 6?

It sounds like an issue with the iPhone controls. Does KQ6 work for you with a desktop (i.e. Windows/Mac OS X/*nix) version of ScummVM?

Hello!

I tested king's quest 5 again and it doesn't matter what i do, after 2 minutes of playtime i get this error:

console is ready
Debugger started, type "exit" to return to the game.
Type "help" to see a little list of commands and varia
ERROR: [VM] kMoveCursor [71]: signature mismatch via me

I have no mouth and i must scream and drascula don't play.
All i get is black screen then it's back to iphone desktop.
No error whatsoever so it might be the version i use.

The rest plays awesome! Keep up the good work!

This error was present in version 1.2.1, and has been fixed in the latest unstable 1.3.0 version - bug #3156472:

I`m about goblins again :)
Goblins 2 and three are still unplayable even in last build of scummvm. It simply don`t react on touches like on mouseclicks

The 7th Guest

I´ve just tested "The 7th Guest" on iPad running version 1.2.1 and it seems that the game is fully playable. I have *not* palyed it all the way to the end, but i can confirm that:

1) The game is bootable;
2) all videos and audio played well, without major jerkyness;
3) the interface works perfectly ("arrow" color seems a little odd though, but i cannot swear on it, i haven´t played the game in 15 years :-D );
4) Game load and save worked perfectly;
5) Solved the first puzzle flawlessly, and the program "remembered" the puzzle being solved.

So i haven´t played all the way to the end but it really doesn´t seem to be a reason that it cannot be done.

Toonstruck

IOS 4.31, IPhone 3GS

-Game Starts
-Intro movie plays
-Game Menu loads, mouse pointer moves, sound plays
-Clicking on any option doesnt work, main-game cant be started
-Enabling drag&drop crashes scummvm

Works on pc, so Toonstruck ((DOS) german) files should be OK.

Edit: Game can be started with newest version, testing now...

Edit2: as it looks now switching touchpad mode crashes the game. works if you do it before in scummvm gui.
a bigger problem is that bringing up the game save menu crashes the app without further message, so playing further is impossible or you need to complete the game without saving... :? permissions are set for all relevant folders i think...

scummvm 1.30 official

game still crashes on bringing up the save screen.

I just tried Lands of Lore for 10 minutes, seems to work fine on the 1.4.0 dev build. CD version is working, floppy version was not recognized by scummVM

I've completed the Game Toonstruck (DOS/German) with Scumm 1.3.0b via iPad (iOS 4.3.3) withouth Problems!

You can Save via ScummVM self only.

And i have read that the people have Many Problems with ScummVM if they switch a Mode (like Drag&Drop).
I only want to say, on iPad it works greatly all.

I tested Monkey Island 2 (DOS/German) on an iPod Touch 3rd Gen. (iOS 4.3.3) with ScummVM 1.3.0b.

It worked fine until I got to Phatt Island.
Everytime Guybrush heads into the second alley at the dock, the game crashes to the homescreen.

The game crash does NOT happen on the win32 version of ScummVM (I copied over the savefiles from the iPod), so I think my sourcefiles of the game are fine.

Full Throttle problem iPad 2

I am on mine road, have fought all battles, and try to put on the Cavefish googles. Then the problem starts. Ben puts them on, the screen blinks, and then goes back to the animation of him putting them on again on the bike, with the same closeup on his face wearing them. This repeats itself until I can press on the exitsign, and gets back to the fertilizertruck.

This makes it impossible for me to get the ramp. Anyone have a sollution for this?

Happened to me on 1.3.0b, installed 1.3.1 and still happens.

Im having a similar problem on Sam & Max: hit the road (cd/English). When I get to the bungee jump bit, when I walk to the elevator, it returns to the home screen. Im running version 1.3.0 with a jailbroken iphone 3g on 4.2.1 firmware.

Ive also had problems with Fate of Atlantis (CD/English), the second I open it, it just returns to the home screen. Same happens on Day of the Tentacle (CD/English) during the end fmv.
