I re-ripped the game's CD music tracks and now works fine.

Thanks

Great!! Does dirty-rects handling also mean SCUMMVM will need less battery power, hence be able to use the iPhone longer for playing? :-)

It should, yeah :). Theoretically at least, I haven't tested it out much.

I will test & report :)
Any idea so far why the Intro for MI 1 (cd version) freezes the animation?

Vinterstum great works, the new version works fine.

Not yet, no. There's some weird timing issue that is causing a few problems (like COMI freezing, some logos and text not fading in properly, etc). At the moment it's lower priority than things like keyboard support, though.

Oh, try encoding the CD audio tracks to Ogg. That's what I've got mine as, and the intro plays fine.

Ok, uploaded a new version with a minor fix (increased the audio buffer size, which gets rid of some audio skipping in some situations. And magically seems to get COMI working better (though you still can't click-and-drag of course).

Here a capture of ScummVM´s console on COMI.

I think that I have an error:

ERROR: Mod library compiled support needed!

Download and zoom

PD:

ScummVM Version: 20071118_0224
iPod Touch Firmware: 1.1.2 (Language: Spanish)
COMI: Windows/Spanish (Download from Internet, only for use with ScummVM and Compress, tomorrow I will copy the game from my originals cds)

The Ogg files, I'd guess :).

Nice the new horizontal/vertical switcher!

And I can confirm the 1px off bug is gone - however, not in vertical view, see picture for details. Tested in main screen and Monkey Island 1 (VGA/DOS/German)

(Yes, it is more noticable on the main screen than in MI)
