humm.. seems like there was a bug in the udmh-version i now tried an older one (version 3) and using the non-frontend launcher i end up in the console when i try to start a game. The error message reads:

Code: Select all

ERROR: (108:130:0X2B): Out of memory while allocating 38742
The frontend-laucher-infoscreen now reads dynamic memory (KB): free: 13859

when i use the frontend launcher on the other hand, the game launches and the logo appears. sadly though, it crashes to console when the logo fades out. the error now reads

Code: Select all

ERROR: (68:10001:0x485B): Out of memory while allocating 47360
with the setting "use larger stack" checked it just crashes to the colsole like it did without the frontend.

This is with ijatlantis. in monkey2 it allways crashes to console and with the same error messages (except the values are different)

Hi just a report of the compatibility of scummvm for Tungsten E :D

I have got a Tungsten E and I get the:

Code: Select all

MemoryMgr.c, Line:2903, MemSet to NULL error
too.
(testing arm version of 2006-01-02 )

I didn't have this problem with the first build of the ARM ScummVm version for palm. (the first test version) Unfortunately i haven't got this version any more :(

Good luck with the further development!

Seems to me like little memory. Have you tried UDMH?

Hi thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunaly I know it's a memory problem. The T|E hasn't got many dynamic memory.. UDMH won't make any difference.. The first Arm test version worked (almost) perfectly. (This version can't be downloaded anymore.)

thanks
