ScummVM 0.10.0 on HTC S710: screen 80%

Post by Zero uNLeashed »

When starting ScummVM 0.10.0 on my newly HTC S710 (running Windows Mobile 6) the menu is NOT full screen, but something like 80%... :?

When I start Full Throttle is still be on 80%...

I already tried the Options and tried all options (Fullsceen mode, Aspect ratio correction) and there are no other options in the Graphics mode or in Render mode... only default. It makes no difference...

Help?

I can post some photo's but how do I upload them??

I assume you mean the bottom 40 pixels are unused. This is normal for 320x200 or 640x400 games. Enabling and honoring the aspect ratio correction checkbox is something that is planned.

OK, thats clear... thx.

My resolution is 320x240, so if ScummVM uses 320x200 i'm missing 40 pixels...

Ill be patient and wait for the next version...

Thanx!

Hi Knakos,

First I want to congratulate you for the 0.X.0. It works very good.
I tested it on 2 devices, a PPC (Toshiba e800, VGA) and a smartphone (Samsung SGH-i600). The smartphone has a resolution of 320x240, landscape (like Motorola Q and T-Mobile Dash), and is running Windows Mobile 5.0. ScummVM for Windows CE it is one of the few applications which runs on this device without having problems with the resolution! The screen is centered, the top 20 pixels and the bottom 20 are not used (I did not tried Zack until now).

Regards
Adi
