"Original Version" just for Scummvm..?

Post by gangster »

Hello,

i've got a question which might sound very stupid, so please don't beat me if it is
i played beneath a steel sky using scummvm several times, but now i need to run it on original DOS. So i downloaded an "Original Floppy Version", or something named like this, but the readme says that ScummVM is needed to run it. Isn't it possible to run this Version on DOS, too?

best regards, simon (not a sorcerer)

Yeah, I got problems with that too.

You can find the FULL version of the game here:

http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=244

I still wonder why ScummVM doesn't offer the full games.

People who do not know where to get it may have to use questionable sources to get it, even though this particular game itself is freeware....

PLEASE dear ScummVM team, offer the full games @ ScummVM, or at least offer the missing files for the original game.....

Best Regards

Joachim

We don't offer the original, because we do not support the original. More or less, we don't want to hear about it here unless it's being ran with ScummVM :)

Fear the masses could switch back to DOS?

Sorry, just a joke...

jeez, it's freeware. So if you think it's necessary to supply everyone with a full bass package, rent a webserver and offer it there. We won't stop you.
