Similar project for old RPG's?

I recently found out about ScummVM and instantly became a convert.

So, first of all, THANKS!

Now, I'm wondering... does it exist, and if not, how difficult it would be to start a similar project for old DOS RPG's? I'm sure there's a lot of old-school RPG gamers on this forum. I would love to play some of these on my Palm Treo:

- Might & Magic I - V
- Eye of the Beholder and Lands of Lore games
- Old SSI AD&D games
- Ultima games
- Wizardry games
- Betrayal at Krondor
- Ishar games

There are so many possibilities!
Anyway... Just a thought. What do you guys think?

Probably a lot of work. I'm aware of a couple of projects, though I don't know what their status is:

"XU4 is a remake of the computer game Ultima IV."
"Exult is a project to recreate Ultima 7 for modern operating systems."
"xBaK is a fan-made remake of the classic Sierra computer RPG "Betrayal at Krondor""

And then there's DOSbox of course. But I don't know if any of these (particularly not DOSbox) are targetting the Palm Treo...

At least any project aiming to support Lands of Lore and possibly Eye of the Beholder would find some existing ScummVM code useful because according to the Westwood developers, a lot of the underlying technologies are the same as for Kyrandia, as all these games were developed during the same period of time. And that also goes for Dune II.

I was thinking about these "3D first person RPGs" (or how should they be called?) too. I'm currently RE'ing MM4 and MM5 (I think MM3 is similar, however I have yet to find a copy of it to check), see http://rewiki.regengedanken.de/wiki/.CC

EOB 3 has been almost completely RE's by Mirek Luza, EOB 1 and 2 file formats are also partially known (check the Wiki for details)

Can't say anything about the other games, though.
