New Test Build: For testing DXA cut-scene support only.

Hi All,

I don't really want this build passed out too wide please as it is just a simple test build for one thing only Wink. Normal features may not work as expected.

Feedback as soon as possible would be great so I can wrap all this into the upcomming 0.10.0 release Very Happy.

Now the interesting bit, what do I want tested?

DXA cut scene videos, Broken Sword one and two specifically.

You can grab the DXA cut scene packs from the link below.

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=37116&package_id=90616&release_id=223573

You should just be able to extract them into your BS1 or 2 folders on the SD making sure you don’t have any MP2 files left over from the old pre-0.9.1 cutscene packs.

If these scenes work well enough I will enable support in AGOS (Feeble Files) and other engines.

I don't expect the speed to be 1:1 just yet but let me know what you think.

The download is here, 0.10.0 SVN from last night and the latest GP2X patches.

If you find those DXA files too large, or not fast enough, I'd encourage you to try the ones here:

These ones are 1/4 of the (encoded) size of the others, and so may perform better.
