Hey guys.

I've followed the detailed instructions from the FAQ but I'm running into one problem and can't seem to resolve the issue.

I used CDex that's recommended in the tutorial and followed each of the steps to convert the sound.

The problem is that it's converting it into a 16 bit mono sound wave instead of 4 bit (yes, I made sure to change each of the settings like it states).

I can't find the option to change this and the FAQ isn't helping much.

Thanks for any replies to help me problem solve this issue.

Yeah, a few people have tripped up on this.

When you encode the audio, you must select 'Extract CD track(s) to a compressed audio file' and not 'Extract CD track(s) to a WAV file'.

The WAV file option creates a standard 16-bit stereo uncompressed WAV while the compressed audio file options creates the file type you specified in the settings dialog.

Thank you very much agentq!

Great work on the build so far. It's much better than what I ever thought it would be.

Your brain must be huge! :D
