M3 Simply DS Users (and maybe more) - FAT DLDI problem etc

Post by youreoverhere »

google for

"r4tf.dldi" and patch with the dldi patcher.

All the other M3 patches didnt work with the latest build of ScummVM but this one did.

I don't know why, I just heard through a friend that he tried it because it worked with DS Organizer.

I hope that helps people out.[/u]

M3 Simply DLDI was NEVER released as it wad never made.....Of course other M3 DLDI do not work as it is NOT for slot1 M3, but for slot2 M3. The problem was NOT ScummVMDS, but users that can't understand that a driver made for Slot2 linkers do NOT work with slot1 linkers.

M3 Simply users always use R4DS DLDI, as it's same hardware....
And this is not new, it was already on Chishm website since the beginning : http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/

I really don't like the way people don't read the other posts on the forums, where there are many people reporting the M3 Simply works perfectly, and create posts with subjects like 'M3 Simply doesn't work!!1!'. It means people reading the forums assume there are major problems when there isn't.

So I have renamed this post to something less inflammatory.
