Loom (GERMAN/DOS/EGA) and MT-32

Post by xadox »

I think i have a problem with Loom [EGA (v1.2 Deutsch from 7 Jun 90)(GERMAN/DOS/EGA + Roland Update)]. If i use the MT-32 driver the sound in the "Overture" seems not right. It sounds like there are missing some tones.

My PC has an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2x 2.40GHz CPU so there has to be enought power.

The waveformcache-32000-440.00.raw file is also generated correctly.

I have tried it on the 0.9.1 and the actual daily build.

I have played all the time with the midi driver but now i buy me an old Roland MT-32 with was broken, so i was searching for the MT roms in the internet. I think now I have the rights to use them.

The Munt emulator is still very experimental. In other words, this is "normal".

Hmm I am a little bit confused. What has the munt emulator to do with the MT-32 emulation? I have not installed the munt driver.

ScummVM's MT-32 emulation is based on the Munt project, I believe.
