scummVM cannot find Monkey Island 2

Well, I didn't have those files (The above was a retyping of the instruction page.) But now I do because I just got the MS-dos version shipped to me.

Now I need to get rid of this:
(0:1:0x93A): script 130 not in room 108 at 8817225+39341 in file monkey2.001

But, that might be in the forum somewhere already, or I might even be able to figure it out.

that usually means the data file is bad; try copying it again from the original media

I tried it again, this time on another computer. Even without ScummVM, I get the same message. This time the message is in a colored low resolution text bubble in a full screen mode.

I also tried it with DOSBox, a program I just found. That did the same thing listed above.

maybe, the CD is scratched? and now it doesn't read that file properly?

Floppy disks are notoriously faulty and they could be the root of the problem. However, it installs without any error messages or strange disk noises. If this is the problem, what can I do?

Is there any other problem it could be?
