Memory card and misc options (700p)

I have a 700p, and use scummvm 0.9.1, I was wondering what the misc. options titled "Rumble effect", "Use Larger stack", and "OS5 advanced mode" do. Just curious, as I haven't been able to find any documentaion explaining these.

Also, in the memory card option, is the "enable read/write cache" option... I'm pretty computer savvy (A+ certified), so I have an idea how this works, my question on this one is: will a larger cache (say, maybe 256k) cause system instablilty?
