SCSD saving troubles

Post by angahith »

Heya, it seems i can't save anymore with v0.9.1 final, on my Supercard SD.
The configuration file still saves fine, but saving in a game causes ScummVM to freeze and all i get is a 0-byte file on my card.
I'm suspecting that the SC's firmware version 1.70 is the culprit, because i never came across any problems with this version, before i upgraded my SC, a while ago.

The weird thing is... this only occurs with build a.
I tried multiple games on all builds and on b and c, there doesn't seem to be any problem creating/saving a file.

Of course i already tried erasing the config file and copying the scummvm-a.nds to my card again, with the same result, so the nds file's not corrupted or anything.

Thanks again for your hard work, agentq!
(Oh yeah, one question/suggestion. Are you going to use Lick's libcartreset in the next build, when you quit a game?)

There will be an interim release soon, which should fix the issue people were having with Supercards. If they have broken anything with the 1.70 update though, I can't do anything about that.

And yes, I do plan to look at including libcartreset for the next full release.
