sc sd

Post by werpu »

unfortunately i have several talkie versions converted to mpeg3 while those worked (sometimes with sound glitches) in beta2 on a sc mini sd, the beta3 completely fails on me once the mp3 sound has to kick in.
DOTT Talkie for instance works until the first sound is played (music works fine) in the intro others bomb upfront (fate of atlantis for instance)

and yes I used the moonshell patcher

Have you tried using uncompressed sounds?

EDIT: Also, please try the M3 test build from this thread:
http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=2599

And let me know if that has the same problems.

Can I just put ScummVM DS and the games in any directory I like
(and the games not specifically in the same folder as ScummVM DS)?

I can't boot beta3, but beta2 seems to work fine except that I can't save. I was wondering if that might have got to do with the path of ScummVM and the games...?
If not, any other suggestions how I can save/load? (flashed to version 2.9 fyi)

You can save using the SRAM method if saving to SD doesn't work:

Ok here are the results of the jury...
beta2 works fine on the sc mini sd...
beta3 compressed uncompressed sounds same results, for instance sam and max crashes into the debugger with the message
Not enough code blocks in room 93
beta4 and the m3 special build hangs upon scummvm load after the zip file check not found message
