All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion :)

Syberia

Post by JoeKing »

Hello,

I hate to ask such a question because I know you have so much other great games working on, but I really love that game so much and would jump around if someday Syberia would be supported by ScummVM.

So here is my vote for Syberia I and II

I know the game is not very old and runs fine with Windows but playing it in Linux would be much better.

Thanks,
Joe

Wine is probably your best bet for the decade to come.

According to the Wine website Syberia I & II should work with Wine.

Hmm... could you tell me where it says so? In Syberia 1 I only get a black screen (but music plays fine), in Syberia 2 the menu is visible, but the mouse curser stays centered. :-(

Well, I tried several times now, but it does not work for me. The cursor stays centered as it is mentioned in Bug 1410 in the DB.
