scummvm and PAL dreamcast

Post by theelf »

Hi! i have a PAL dreamcast (im from Spain, europe).
Scummvm is squashed, and displaced to the left. There is some way to see it in fullscreen, and correctly? perhaps is a 50hz/60hz problem?
thanxs and greetings

If your TV does not support 60 Hz mode, I'd bet for a refresh rate problem. If your TV is capable of that rate, I'll check those crappy Euroconnectors, maybe is a bit loose or try to plug it on another socket.

Any news about this issue? It will be fixed in 0.10?

Sadly, it seems the Dreamcast port is a bit forgotten by it's maintainer :(

The same as for your other post applies here: The relevant FR item is still open, hence obviously nothing changed about its status. Asking for it won't help either. If you are so interested in it, go and email the responsible person/porter (you can easily find out who that is by looking at the AUTHORS file, BTW). Then ask him directly about it.

But asking here only produces noise, nothing else.

hello,

The functions of posting are in "display.cpp"

-> void OSystem_Dreamcast::initSize(uint w, uint h)
-> void OSystem_Dreamcast::updateScreen(void)
