v071 - PPC Arm Version Error Message with Config File

When starting my v071 Scummvm everything works and the config file is created once.

Next time trying to start scummvm071 I get the error message:

quote:
Config file buggy: Junk
found in line 10:'
'

When opening the config file I can't see any unusual things in there.
Is it a bug in v071?
I'm using this version because I have some FMTowns Games which I can't start with v080.

Please report why "some FMTowns Games [won't] start with v0.8.0".

Reporting them might get the bugs fixed.
The version you're using is unlikely to ever get fixed.

From your report it might be that the INI file has wrong line endings which ScummVM doesn't like

Hello,

this "Config buggy" is a bug reported often from different users for 0.7.1. In 0.8.0 this bug appeared not so far.

Regarding the FM-TOWNS problem: if you are using a FM-TOWNS Game with patches applied (e.g. a language patch, which allows you to play the games in german, french or spanish) ScummVM 0.8.0 will not detect it automatically. The ini entry "target_md5" will solve this problem. See

http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=108

in order to see, how this option works (BTW: It works also for PocketPC ScummVM 0.8.0). Joachim Eberhard was so kind to provide the required MD5s for all (?) games/language combinations available.

kind regards

Frank
