Good day people,
Could anyone tell me, is it possible to launch THE DIG and The course of Monkey Island on Nokia N80 ?
I tried, but already compressed, no luck
THE DIG was 260 Mb with MP3 sound and *.san files in VIDEO folder.
Hung up during first boot.
MI3 was 450 with files with the same extention in RESOURSE folder.
Show message "Mad library compiled support needed"
and hung up, but show first screen with no action possible.
How can I compile my scumm, with MAD library? Please help.
May be I should do something another way?
Thanks in advance!
DIG, MI3 and N80

MK3 is not possible, as there is just to little memory in your phone.
Try The Dig using the Scumm engine only version, to ensure that the maximum amout of memory is available before running it. ( I have had the demo running on my P910).
But as it is now MP3 does n't work on your N80 (assembler with it is not working with the phone). I managed to get a version of Tremor(OGG files) running on the P990 I have to test with, so I will release at least a version with OGG/Tremor support soon.
So you have to wait for the next version with working OGG support. In the meantime you can start OGGing your audio files.

No More Memory?
First of all excuse me for my english.
Now i want to explain my problems,
but before i have to say a BIG THANK YOU to the developers of this port.
Very, very nice.
I have Nokia N80,
i have installed scummvm-0.12.0-s60-v3.sis on my device.
I install Monkey Island 1
and i play with it
without problems.
I install Monkey Island 3,
but i cannot play with it.
The entire application (scummvm) crash without error
and come back to symbian desktop.
My question is this:
is possible to write on a log file some errors?
is possible to view on the scummvm interface how many memory need the X game?
ScummVm come with SDL or i have to install SDL apart?
How many memory need Curse of Monkey Island?
I have 24 megabytes of free ram? Is not enough?
Thx you in advance.

Re: No More Memory?
WOW
There's a news!
I've uninstalled a resident program (google search).
Now the Curse of Monkey Island is functioning on my N80.
Obviously, the CPU is very slow, and then
i cannot see animation.
I can see only some text and i can hear perfectly the audio.
