DVD version on mac?-Broken Sword 1

Crashes after intro movie, with no exception or error codes.

Also, my dvd version does not come with speech1 and speech2 files, just speech.dat. I'm trying to run Broken Sword 1 on a Mac, 1.25 Ghz with 1.5 GB ram, plenty of HD space, and OS X 10.4.6.

Do i need to do something to the files, I've copied my files a hundred times but they keep crashing.

Which BS1 version are you trying to use?
An old PC release? A Mac release? Or the Sold-out release which is shipped with ScummVM?
