Galaxy Note S-Pen

Post by Jez83UK »

Has anyone looked into getting the button on the s-pen to function as a right click?

That would be very cool, and should be doable.

Another thing. Is there a way to disable the s pen hovering detection? I get constant unintended mouse clicks due to hovering, and it's very annoying.

Controls for android are explained there. I think tap and hold for 0.5 sec should make a right click. Would really love it if the s-pen button and tap could be used for right clicks.

Hi,

I've implemented the mouse and stylus support for ScummVM, and it's already been merged with the main codebase. Download recent nightly build from the ScummVM site and S-Pen should work. The button works a right mouse click.

That's fantastic! Thanks, will try it out.

Worked great! I still have a big problem though. My s-pen "left clicks" constantly whenever it is within an inch of the screen. The cursor moves and it clicks on whatever is there just by hovering above the screen. Anyone else experience this? Is my s-pen buggy or is this normal?

Known and common problem I've found out.
