Question About Compressing a Games Data Files

Post by Whitellama »

Hey. I'm about to ask a question that I doubt is possible, but I will ask anyways, for the sake of asking.

So I'm trying to play Riven on my android phone with ScummVM, but I ran into a problem when copying the data files of Riven to my SD card. I haven't purchased a larger SD card yet, so my SD card is only about as large as 1.8 GB. The data files are about 2.7 GB.

This might be a longshot, but is it possible to keep the files on my SD card for ScummVM to use in a compressed form? That way, potentially, I could fit the files onto my SD card.

Thanks. I'm pretty eager to get Riven on my phone, as I completed Myst not long ago on my iPod, and I had a blast with that.

There is no way to compress Riven or Myst.
