MI2 Copy Protection

How do you get throught the protection on MI2? You can't enter numbers..

Use the select button to bring up the virtual keyboard.
This is documented in the README, you know.

But there aren't any numbers there, and I pressed every button imaginable while in that screen-nothing.

Use the L-Trigger to switch between Letters and Symbols (including numbers).
This should be printed on the center of the screen.
