You're doing nothing wrong. There is currently no active android port maintainer.
I am going to try to get this fixed. It is the top item on my TODO list.

Yes, can someone please fix this - it is fine if I run an old 1.8.0 build.

Any news on this issue? It is the one and only thing that needs to be fixed as far as the Android version goes.

Otherwise it's flawless. But that aspect ratio is quite annoying.

I've been messing around with the nightlies to see if any progress has been made on this. I managed to get aspect ratio correction to work after a bit of tinkering. Steps to recreate below;

Installed latest nightly
Set Themes, Saves and Extra directories to my internal storage
Set Graphics options to Aspect Correction and Fullscreen (apply)
Added Indiana Jones and the FoA DOS CD
Start game - derp not aspect corrected
Exit to launcher
Edit game settings
Over-ride graphics
Set Aspect Correction (left fullscreen unchecked - apply)
Start game - tada - correct aspect ratio

None of this is very useful as the nightly seems to have a lot wrong with it;

Launcher UI/Theme all broken (buttons at the bottom)
No scaling options for Graphics settings
No MT-32 emulation
Lots more but this is enough to make it unusable for me.

Not sure if any of this is helpful or not - or if anyone knows how to fix the issues above.

Aspect ratio can be set in the startup splash screen.
EAS sound support still keeps shutting down the app in newer Android versions though.
