I get a similar situation on my Surface Book.

Running ScummVM in full screen the track pad works but the touch screen doesn't. A plugged in mouse also reacts as the touch screen.

When it goes wrong the mouse moment is controlled by a tiny square in the middle of the screen. I checked dropping the DPI scaling to 100% from 200% and it doesn't make a difference.

It's a shame because using it as a touch screen would be great.

I have the exact same problem on my surface pro 4. i tried the same steps everyone in this thread have mentioned. i will try an older version of scummvm on my surface pro 4 to see if there is any difference.

On my Surface Pro 3 / Win 10 I got ScummVM running following these steps:
1. Install old Version 1.7.0. I used file scummvm-1.7.0-win32.zip from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/scummv ... mmvm/1.7.0

2. Delete SDL.dll in installation directory and replace it with SDL.dll from here:
http://www.winboard.org/artikel-attachm ... ledsdl.zip

3. Add this line in scummvm.ini (in C:/Users/{username}/AppData/Roaming/ScummVM): gfx_mode=opengl_linear

Now mouse works in fullscreen mode. For a left mouse click double-tap is necessary.
On the left screen border there are 3 soft keys:
L = left mouse click (single tap is sufficient)
R = right mouse click
some squares = show keyboard

For getting additional keys on the tablet's keyboard (Esc for skipping scenes, F5 for ScummVM menu) have a look here:

thanks uwe. i tried it on my surface pro 4 and it worked pretty good. the two problems i had were that the surface pen didn't work and that the mouse pointer moved slower than my finger. other than that it works pretty good. also the picture was very small.
