Inverted mouse?

I've noticed that fullscreen ScummVM on Linux does not respect touchscreen calibration, which makes the cursor inverted. (This does not apply to windowed mode, for whatever reason)

Is there a way to get ScummVM to invert the mouse to get around this problem?

This doesn't answer your question, but, does this happen in other SDL games? (e.g. dosbox or openTTD)

Some full screen SDL applications do have this issue, some don't. I'm not sure how other developers have gotten around this problem.

Alternatively, is there a mode that isn't "true" full screen so that it respects x window settings, screen calibration, and key mappings?
