A Question Only an Adult Would Know the Answer To

Post by GeorgeQGreg »

If the angles of a quadrilateral measure 74, 51, 33 and 87 and a circle is inscribed in the quadrilateral, what are the measures of the arcs between each two consecutive points of tangency?

The angles of a quadrilateral, must add up to 360 degrees, at least in Euclidean space. Your example gives 245... we don't know which units, though.

Anyway, the arcs in the inscribed circle should measure 180°-x, where x is the angle at the corresponding corner of the polygon.
