ScummVM & HTC One S = No go?

I got HTC One S (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 / Krait dualcore) phone, the "stock model" aka no carrier branding / customizations or such.
I have the stock ROM with latest OTA update installed (Android 4.0.4 update)

I tried first the one from Google Play, and then the latest nightly build, both do the exact same thing, loading screen shows up normally, but after that nothing, just blank screen, menu button does nothing (I've set the multitask/switch window button to work as menu button on ICS-native apps), back does nothing and home obviously returns me to my homescreen.

Any ideas what's going on, and is there a fix coming for this?

Here's the log file, hopefully it has it all

Disabling auto-rotate as suggested in the thread you linked seemed to work, i could see the menus, but soon after the device just hanged, nothing worked except for forced reboot

Thanks for the log; alas, the only particularly weird thing in your log is the launcher app logging a lot of stuff when it shouldn't be doing anything. No idea what's going on; will try and borrow a device and see.
