Plugin for toonstruck

Hello

I would be grateful is someone could help me with my Toonstruck problem. When I'm starting a new game (from the menu) the game crashes. A black screen with the following message appears:
User picked target 'Toon' (game id 'toon')...
Looking for plugin supporting this game id... toon
Starting 'toonstruck'

Is suppose that i need to download a plugin: however google does not enlighten me on which plugin I need or where to find the needed plugin. What I find are plugins for android or ios;not a plugin for WIndows Vista (which I run on my laptop).

Thanks in advance

As far as I know, the Windows version of ScummVM doesn't use plugins. Everything's compiled into one big program, so I imagine Toonstruck should just work. At least if you're using ScummVM 1.3.0 or later.

I don't know what would be causing your problem, though. Generally speaking, strange crashes can be caused by missing or corrupted data files, in which case copying them from the CDs again might make a difference.

That black screen is the console output. Is fullscreen turned on in the options? Try turning it off.
Do you have multiple monitors (or a TV connected) by any chance? Try disabling that and see if it makes a difference.

I am grateful for the quick responses. However, I have turned of the full screen option of scummvm, unfortunately there is no result; also I do not use other monitors. The scummvm version I use is 1.4.1. It is indeed possible that some files are corrupted, I will try to recopy them.

I found a forum topic with a similar problem, unfortunately I am not smart enough to understand what they are saying: this is the url: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=9453
I have the impression a solution is finally formulated. Can someone translate what is said there in 'stupid people' language?

Again I would like to thank you all in advance...

They are talking about problems caused by compiling from source.
I assume you are on a stable version or a daily build and didn't build it yourself.
