gamecube out of memory while allocating

on pajama sam 1 i get this error out of memory while allocating how do i fix this. i have tryed every thing i tryed loading a save state i made on my pc scummvm that is past the crashing point of the game but it would'nt load the save state compressed or uncompressed. iv'e tryed everything it's making me go crazy! can somone tell me what to do but remember im using the gamecube port version 1.31 because it is the newest avalible for gamecube.

You usually cannot save in a newer scummvm and then load in an older scummvm.

Try downloading the 1.3.1 version for the pc and using that. That will make it the same version on both platforms.
