Is this fella already doing what we've just been talking about?
No. There might be some work done on shaders if there's time after the scalers work, though.

My iPad 3 is running ScummVM 1.4.1 perfectly since today
Now that it's been jailbroken perhaps someone will look into it and do some magic with the shaders / scalers!
