Game Saves on HDD
hi,
it seems there is a problem if you set the save game path to
the hdd via the global options inside scumm.
if you save inside of a game to the hdd, it wont always
write directly a save file to the hdd, but sometimes it
dose, i dont know if this is a bug which can be fixed.
but as long as i dont turn of scumm, and just exit out of a
game i'm still be able to load the save games from the
hdd(but i think they are stored in ram or something)
so i think they are not directly written to the hdd.
btw i set the save path to pfs:/scummvm/Saves inside
of the the +ScummVM partition, if this wont ever work is
there a way of resetting the setting to the memory card?.
i'm also starting scumm from that partition via ule as i dont want to use a usb drive.
Hope this can be fixed 'cause saving to the hdd would be
less painfull.
.richard

Hey richi ..
quit game after saving .. reload that same save from the load button on the frontend .. then quit scumm normally.
works for my internal non usb setup. a couple extra steps but its the best i've got unless someone has fixed this problem.

as i can remember it worked fine that way.
btw. is anyone still working on the ps2 port?
because it could use some updates, especialy update the ps2 tool-chain, so it can be manualy compiled...:/
