Classic SCUMM games not working in 1.2.0?

I've noticed that some SCUMM games, as well as BASS crash ScummVM on my G2/Desire Z (Android 2.2).
Noted so far were:
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (VGA CD compressed/straight copy from disk and FMTOWNS both)
Day Of The Tentacle (VGA CD)
Beneath A Steel Sky (VGA CD compressed)
Monkey Island 2 (VGA)

Anyone else having similar problems with 1.2.0 on Froyo or on G2/Desire Z?

Ah, I tried http://anddev.at.ua/load/scummvm_svn54429/1-1-0-7 and found that it seemed to work.
However, after fiddling with options, I then found that it would crash exactly like it did before.

It's the MIDI options. Output device set to Timidity causes some games to crash.
This behaviour is common to both 1.2.0 and the svn.
The svn build linked above has other nice features though, such as the 2x scalers.
