Beneath a Steel Sky

Post by /dev/null »

Hi,
i installed ScummVM and added Beneath a Steel Sky. Then I clicked 'Start'. I saw the logo of Virgin, Revolution and 'Dave Gibbon present'. Then the screen turns black. :?:

Can anybody help me?

btw: sorry for my English but I'm from Germany ;)

Patience is sometimes helpful.

The game's intro has a pause in the beginning.

Wait ten more seconds and the game will start.

Which operating system do you use? Linux? Windows? Mac OS?
Which Beneath a Steel Sky version did you try, the floppy or the CD version?
Which ScummVM version do you use?

I'd suspect it's a problem with your sound drivers/settings that makes ScummVM crash... but I'm not sure.
Did you try any other games with ScummVM?

It is the intended behavior. Originally, that message appeared in text mode, though since ScummVM is no DOS software, it was changed that way.

Please, try latest 0.8.2. 0.7.1 is one year old now.
