Well not really. It might be a systemfunction rewritten in v5 which ,makes this show in that platform.

makes you wonder if now that you've changed it, it might cause problems for the v3 users Laughing

Rather the opposite, since now its done in the correct way actually. So compressed audio (with file streaming) might work better.

I'm compressing the BUN files here, I guess if they work ok, most of the other stuff should also work fine.

And it works fine with compressed BUN files in MP3 mode at least. Smile

Is it useful to compress audio with a CortexA8 @ 600Mhz CPU
and a 16Gb microSD?
Is there some improvements in doint it except for the disk space?

Thanks for your reply.
On my phone voice sounds is clear and perfect, music background seems to be a little crappy. Have you noticed that?

Yes I know, the background music sounds MORE than crappy. And thats strange, because it did n't sound like that before a major rewrite of the audio streaming code. Hmm not good. Should try on my PC I think.

Its like totally distored. Tested with the Dig and the same there. Strange enough its only the background music, not the speech, and regardless if its compressed or not. Must be a misscalculation in the symbian port somehow. Sounds nice on the PC svn.
