we are playing the Curse of Monkey Island using ScumVM for portable devices. The system we have is as follows:
HP iPAQ 5550
Game stored on Sandisk Ultra II 2GB SD card
Windows CE 2003
The game plays fine (a little slowly in some areas, but the iPAQ is pretty powerful). We cannot now progress, however, due to a crash that occurs in the same place every time. We are in the second part of the game (getting the crew), and are doing the sequence where we get the gold tooth from the pirate by giving him the gum and bursting the bubble. We then pick up the tooth, and then eat some gum ourself (I know that we are doing the right thing because it works fine if we do it on the PC). As soon as we use the chewed gum with the tooth, however, the game crashes with the words:
"ScumVM error
Unrecoverable exception occured -see crash dump in latest \scummvmCrash file"
We do hear Guybrush say "The tooth is in the gum" just after the error message so I am guessing that it might be the sample triggeringthe error. Or maybe not
