Monkey Island 2 realy slow

Post by LurkerScum »

I'm running scummVM on my Sony Clie PEG-NX73V and it is realy slow.
I would guess it is about 10% of the original speed. But it doesn't seem like the CPU of my PDA is overstressed. For example I can switch of tha PDA during the game whenever i want to.

Others might know it. If the CPU is busy you can't do anything. But this is not the case.

So my question is - what can I do to accerlate this game?

You can try overclocking your device - try Lightspeed.

Since your device isn't officially supported, i guess your on your own. You could try older builds than the one you already have or a device accelerator. You could also try to test other games than MI2, maybe they are more playable. But the wiki entry refers to "major problems" - so I don't think this options are worth the effort.

sorry that I can't help you
