Indy 3 - How to fight on a HTC P4350

Post by Gecko »

Hi @ all,
I got a problem with the key-mapping in Indy 3 on a HTC P4350 with ScummVM 0.11.1.

I can bind the "right click" to "Softbutton A" for fighting, but nothing happens. It also nothing happens, when I bind the "right click" to a button on may keypad. Any solutions?

I also read forum posts and the README-WinCE, without any success. But the "right click" is the "Fight Button", nor?

Thanks in advance and best regards, Gecko

The WinCE Readme remarks somewhere under "Notes":
- YOU MUST DISPLAY THE KEYBOARD TO FIGHT IN INDIANA JONES 3

Which Keyboard? The Windows-Keyboard disappears after starting ScummVM.

ScummVM has its own virtual keyboard so you don´t need the WinCE/WinMobile one.
You can activate the virtual keyboard by mapping a key for that like it is described in the README:
You can map additional actions on your device hardware buttons using the
"Options" / "Key" menu in the ScummVM options menu. To associate an action to
a key, tap the action, then the "Map" button and press the hardware key.

* Keyboard : hide or display the virtual keyboard
or by double tapping on the top most line of the touchscreen (if your device has one) to toggle between toolbar and virtual keyboard.
