The ScummC compiler v0.2.0 was released on April 12.

Scumm v6 support is mostly complete (they're currently looking into v7), and they provide a port of the "OpenQuest" AGS demo to their language, compiled to Scumm bytecode, playable in ScummVM.

They already have a GUI for designing walk boxes, at least, maybe more, I didn't test the thing yet.
