SCUMMVM Mac OS X 0.8.0a version requires a G4?

Post by resonate »

hello, i have been using the 0.7 version of scummvm under mac os x on a g3 powerbook with succes for very long time.
now i downloaded the 0.8.0a version and it refuses to start......in the crashlog i see :

"Link (dyld) error:

incompatible cpu-subtype"

does it mean it wont run on a G3? why is that?

scummvm runs games just fine on a g3 processor....

running on tiger 10.4.3

There's another thread / discussion about this. Using the search function would of highlighted the following http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=130.

thank you very much. the g3 build as posted in the other thread does work for me too.

I did search the forum, but the "g3" or "G3" query doesnt provide not one result!

Maybe, but searching for Mac OS X G3 does.
