Last build which support new engines

Post by CharlyV »

Hello knakos,

do you plan to make the last build which use the AGOS and
Revolution Software's Virtual Theatre engine for Windows Mobile ?

Thanks in advance.

yesyesyesyes, hang on :)

We've hit some snags with some functionality I would have loved to include in the upcoming release, which won't make it after all. So bugfixing and a snapshot release are up next, I hope very soon.

@knakos:
With what do you compile you ARM ScummVM version? In the "dists" folder I didn´t find a "WinCE" project and the normal MSVC7/8 projects do run fine for Windows but they can not be switched to a Windows Mobile/ARM target.

So that everyone's informed, we're currently working on a sane and easy-to-use way to integrate the lure engine control scheme into the WinCE quirks. Until such a thing works, there's no point in releasing a snapshot build. We have a couple of ideas, implementing them is a function of the developers' free time; I'd say it's in the order of magnitude of days (week(s) perhaps?) :-)
