No Windows and Mac OS X Ports Discussion Forums?

Post by Lord Savage »

Thanks for the new forums. They look and work great.

Why don't all of the supported platforms get there own discussion forums? The majority of the discussion in the old forums seemed to revolve around the Windows port and to a lesser extent the MacOS X one IMHO.

Just because Windows, MacOS X, Linux, *nix and even OS/2 aren't ports. In ScummVM we have different platform-specific backends which talk to device hardware, and most of our platforms use SDL backend which is considered to be main one. So all discussion on those ports go to General Discussion and/or Help forums.

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't sure what the criteria was these subforums but, now it all makes sense.
