Help needed. COMI related.
I know I sound like a newb, but I just bought a copy of Curse of Monkey Island, to find that it is not in scummvm's directory. I've read how you have to extract files, but as I am new at this, I do not know how. If someone could tell me exactly how to get COMI to be found on scummvm, I would be very thankful.
the readme has a section dedicated to comi and this issue has been discussed
in many threads.
first create a comi directory on your hard drive
place comi.la0, comi.la1 (from first disc) and comi.la2 from the second disc
in your new directory
You also must create a resource subdirectory (folder) in your new comi folder
The way I did this is to just drag and drop the resource folder directly from the first disc to your new comi directory, and select all files in the resource directory
on the second disc to the new comi/resource/ directory
hope this helps though you will find a better explanation in the readme file
(or probably by searching previously posted threads )
happy adventuring

There must be other files as well? If you list them all someone will be able to check their CD contents against yours (I don't have my COMI CD's with me at the mo'). You may be unlucky and have a incorrectly duplicated CD or something.Mike wrote:In disc one, there is comi.la0 and in disk two there are comi.la0 and comi.la2
