Where do I put the game data on the Linux version of SCUMMVM

Where do I copy the game data files to on the Linux/Ubuntu version of SCUMMVM, so that they can run properly.

you can copy them to any place that seems suitable for you (I keep all the datafiles on a fat32 partition so I can use the datafiles from both XP and Linux) (one directory per game)

then start ScummVM, click on "Add game" and point it to the directory or use ScummVM's mass-add feature (Shift+click on "Add game").
