Question about ROM file region codes used.

3.8) Maniac Mansion NES notes
---- ------------------------
Supported versions are English USA (E), French (F), Swedish (SW) and
European (U). ScummVM requires just PRG section to run and not whole ROM.

You use (E) for USA and (U) for Europe. But in the actaul rom 'world'. These should be reversed. It should be (U) for USA and (E) for Europe. If you look at 'GoodCodes.txt' that comes with the GoodTools you can see the correct region codes. I think the way it is now adds a bit of confusion.

Does anybody really care? We're not in the "ROM world" here. The proper abbreviations to use would be ISO region codes which would indicate the US version as "us" and the UK (European English) versions as "gb". but as we're dealing with one letter abbreviations, everybody is free to use his own letters.

You can use what you please, I just thought that someone who wanted the USA release of Maniac Mansion and read your Readme.txt file and saw English USA (E). Then they go searching for it and find Maniac Mansion (E). When infact this is the Europe release and not the USA release like they wanted. I just thought it might confuse some people. I also suppose there is a small different between the version, and it won't matter that much, but some people may little to have the correct version.
