Discworld

Post by gwood1234 »

Hi, just wanted to know if Discworld 1 worked on the GP2X version on ScummVM?

If not, does anyone know if it will work in DosBox?

Kind regards
Gareth

All required permissions have already been arranged, according to the wiki. It's the source code that hasn't been located/recovered/recieved yet, and until there's a final word on whether or not source can be retrieved, the team isn't making much of an effort to RE the game - if they do get the source code RE:ing would just be a lot of wasted time...

An official answer ;).

Until the source code is located or a reverse engineering task is undertaken it will not be added to ScummVM as an engine, only then can support for the engine be added to ScummVM for the GP2X.

As for running the game in DOSBox, on a normal X86 PC, yep, fine. On the GP2X, not a chance.
