great coding on that G6 DLDI driver... since it's 0.17 right now, why not update the official Chism'DLDI page too? AFAIK it still hosts the 0.15 version

...now trying this out on my own

is there any specific feature we should test/look into?
infact i had no issues with 0.15 build, hence it'd be helpful to know what to spot

Yep sure you can help.
Just try with homebrews that work with 0.15 to check if they still work with 0.17. And test scummVM with 0.17.
Focus on saving and loading savegames since it was the writing code which changed between 0.15 and 0.17.

Did this version get any kind of release?

The above download link doesn't work for me. Once the countdown is up and I click "download file" it just redirects to a blank page and stops.

I can't right-click and save either...

Any alternative location?

viruseb has released the 0.17 G6 DLDI driver
they work like a charm... so go for it!
