ScummVM 0.9.1a beta2 with DLDI support released

Post by agentq »

Hi,

Here's a new beta.

Not much is new, but the DLDI interface should allow most card readers to work.

New in this version:
* Removed all card reader drivers and added DLDI interface
* Fixed bug where the CD Audio wasn't looping

Instructions on how to use DLDI are included in the README_DLDI.TXT file.

Hi,

I've just tried with monkey island, scummvm-a and an ewin2. It seems to work perfectly, including savegames :)

If you need any specific test...

Thanks a lot agentq :D

Yeah, the sorta emulate the GBAMPCF, but not completely. Team DS-X needs to release a .dldi file, like ds-x.dldi :) I mean, they claim to fully support homebrew, but my SC Lite runs most homebrew better, especially since DLDI...

agentq, thanks for supporting DLDI, will try this one :)

Agentq, you're my hero :). ScummVM is one of the best applications/games out there in the homebrew world. Great job!

Tomten, I thought the DS-X emulated the Neoflash cards, not the GBAMP CF? Try the driver for 'NEO Flash MK2 & MK3 (SD Card)'.

If that doesn't work, you should post on the DS-X forums!

Actually, I don't think it matters:

Works like a charm on the EZF-V

Games tested :
Monkey 1 floppy ver
Monkey 2
DOTT cd ver
Indy FOA floppy ver

A VERY BIG THANKS to everyone involved in this wonderful achievement!

(Now, with a fixed 100% unscaled option for the top screen, it'll be perfect!)

I briefly tested this on a Supercard Lite

On the top screen I get the message:

'DLDI Device 'SuperCard Lite(TransFlash Micro SD)'
DLDI Driver Initialized OK!

Which sounds good, but I just get stuck with a black screen below on the touchscreen.
