Gobliins 2 Loading

Post by exofreeze »

Some screens in Gobliins 2 (such as the giant in the first area) seem to take a good minute or so to load, while other screens load up right away. Is this a common problem with the game currently, or something I am overlooking? My pc is more thenpowerful enough, so i'm sure it's not a hardware limitation - but maybe I don't have my settings optimal for this game somehow.

Thanks in advance to any helpful individuals!

quick edit: Vivelzart's home (in the second episode) causes crashes and sound problems when I use the switch to send Winkle up towards the vulture. A strange music that is really staticy plays, the games starts locking up, and then it crashes. I have loaded the scene several times and done things in different orders - yet it always happens when sending winkle to the vulture.

alright, well forget the whole crash then. I'm just currious if anyone else is dealing with loading times like that - I dont consider a long load time a bug report... Sorry to rain on your parade there clem.

If you had a look at the bug tracker, you'd see that this bug has already been submitted:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.ph ... tid=418820

According to drmccoy, it should be fixed now

And the vulture-thing should be fixed now in the SVN repository, too...

I'll start going to the bug tracker instead then.
Thanks...
