Inherit the Earth - Still no flac support

Why is there still no flac support in Inherit the Earth?
It’s supported (at 87% while writing this).
There is a compression tool.
But ScummVM does not recognize the game, when using compressed audio.

No one's bothered to implement it (obviously). The tools README file does mention that compressed sounds are not supported by the SAGA engine.
