anotherguest's builds ?

hi...
just a little question Smile

what's the difference about:

scummvm-051108-SymbianS60v2_all.sis
AND
scummvm-051108-SymbianS60v2_all_vorbis.sis
??

which one to choose ?

thnx

just from looking at the filenames I'd guess that the first one has either no compressed sound support or just mp3 support, and the second build having support for OGG compressed soundfiles.

scummvm-*-Symbian*_all.sis features: MP3 & ZLIB, engines: scumm,simon,sky,queen,gob,saga

scummvm-*-Symbian*_all_vorbis.sis features: Tremor, MP3 & ZLIB, engines: scumm,simon,sky,queen,gob,saga

but the Tremor (integer only Vorbis codec) code is currently broken: we're trying to see what's going wrong at the moment: for now we suggest you use MP3 anyways: it uses a lot less resources on our already resources-limited phones Smile

greetz,
SumthinWicked

PS. I decided to remove the _vorbis.sis builds from the downloads page until they are actually ready Smile

Hi!

Is there a timetable for releasing CVS builds for the Symbian port?
Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I can't wait for the next build Smile

Thanks!
Cristian.

I have now made a new build using the 0.9 cvs, including working OGG support ( at least on my P910)

Hi!

Just a reminder ... for the next build Smile
Remember to change the name of the application to ScummVM (from EScummVM), and maybe to use the new icon (http://www.scummvm.org/favicon.ico)

BTW ... this is a very low priority thing Wink.

Thanks for everything!
Cristian.

And this one is really not so important.
